Kathy lives and works in a wonderful riverside location in rural Perthshire.
surrounded by bird song, river song and all things wild and beautiful.
She endeavours with her work to bring wonder, wildness and delight into
your home in equal measure.,
She works in a wide variety of mediums, cyanotype, painting, printmaking, watercolour, collage, drawing, charcoal, photography and digital art.
She has curated a selection of work from her gallery to make a range of prints sold singly and in sets. Amongst these is a wonderful collection of cyanotypes made originally on Japanese paper using plants, grasses and flowers collected from riverside and woodland with animals and insects added and sometimes coloured by hand. There are also giclee prints from watercolours , a fun set of woodland animals ,mountain range, deep forest and some abstract works.
Kathy studied at Brighton College of Art and then went on to the Royal College of Art in Kensington London where she studied painting and printmaking. She has work in a number of collections including the VandA London, Hearst, Seimens, Estee Lauder and Getty Images.
Kathy draws inspiration from her environment, memories, dreams and imagination which she distills with a kind of rich abstraction.
