Freya Mabel Makes
Freya is a Fashion Technology graduate based in Highland Perthshire who creates Scottish Landscape Tapestries. Her studies and experience within the industry has led to her making well-thought products that are made to a very high standard.
Having grown up spending holidays camping in the Highlands and Islands - in all weathers, Freya has a strong love for Scotland. Her Scottish landscape tapestries allow her to use her creative abilities to capture the iconic places she has explored. These include the Glenfinnan Viaduct, Bass Rock, Glen Coe and Forth Bridges, to name a few.
Using appliquéd felt in a minimalistic style with detailed stitching and a refined colour palette, these tapestries work both individually and as mini collections.
Alongside her original tapestries, Freya Mabel Makes also offers custom designed tapestries in various sizes.
