Ellys was born and bred in a small town near Glasgow, Scotland. She grew up in a creative family and always loved creating weird and wonderful objects from everyday materials, including everything from cereal boxes to plastic bottles. This natural gravitation towards working with her hands developed during her studies at Glasgow School of Art and Bishopsland Educational Trust where she focused on working with silver and gold and began developing her design style.

Ellys' work is inspired by Scotland’s urban landscape, from huge structures such as the Queensferry Crossing to overlooked brickwork patterns found within Glasgow’s quirky streets. The minimal, linear style of her work is all about back to basics but without skipping the luxury.

Growing up in a loving and creative family she wanted to build a brand focused around people. "I think everyone deserves to have some luxury in their homes and in their jewellery collection, which reflects their personality. Precious pieces that you get excited to show off and wear – that are loved and can be passed on for generations.”
