Hanami Garden
Hanami Garden is the creative vision of Hong Kong-born artist Eva , founded in 2024 after relocating to Edinburgh on a BNO visa. The brand specialises in delicate, handcrafted crystal flowers using traditional Japanese dip techniques: wire is shaped into petal forms, dipped multiple times in resin to build a luminous, translucent film, then reinforced for lasting strength and clarity. Each bloom embodies the philosophy of “One Wire. One Dip. One Bloom capturing a single moment of natural beauty as an eternal, wearable keepsake.
Inspired by wabi-sabi’s embrace of imperfection and transience, and the tea ceremony spirit of ichigo ichie (“one time, one meeting” every encounter is unique and never to be repeated), Eva approaches each creation and every interaction with full presence and reverence. She infuses her pieces with subtle Eastern poetry while reflecting the quiet tenderness of Hong Kong life. Seasonal motifs : cherry blossoms, thistles, Halloween pumpkins, Christmas trees to become miniature wearable art, loved by those who cherish handmade, unfading nature.
Hanami Garden is more than jewellery; it is a platform for “capturing the fleeting in the eternal.” Through markets, workshops, and online sharing, she invites others to experience the meditative joy of making and the gentle reminder to cherish each present moment.
Currently based in Edinburgh, she continues to explore new materials and forms, so every flower becomes a quiet, lasting companion.
