With a background in product and interior design, Alexis has been a maker in one form or another her whole life. With a bachelors degree in design a fascination with metallurgy led her to do an evening course in silversmithing at Edinburgh College of Art and she’s been learning and creating ever since.

Her studio in Edinburgh is a place of experimentation, exploration and joy where she specialises in creating easily wearable, made to order pieces alongside regular collections of statement, one of a kind pieces.

Through Bonnie Magpie, Alexis hopes to create jewellery for incredible women today that will be passed down to the next generation of kick-ass women in the future.
