Silverpickle Jewellery

Barbara runs Silverpickle Jewellery from her workshop based at her home in South Queensferry. Barbara's jewellery is inspired by love, movement and natural, vibrant colours.
Having completed foundation modules in Silversmithing Techniques and Jewellery Manufacture at college many years ago Barbara is mostly self taught, using a style very much identifyable as her own. Working predominantly in Sterling Silver Barbara combines accents of 9ct Gold and colourful, quality gemstones, chosen from around the world, in her kinetic pieces of jewellery.
As a self-confessed heart addict the heart shape plays an important role within Silverpickle, spreading a bit of love around the world. Barbara is concious of waste and its impact on the environment and ensures that there is no waste in the Silverpickle workshop. Every Sterling Silver offcut, piece of scrap and fleck of silver dust is melted down and used to make pebbles that are incorporated into Barbara's work. A lot of care and attention goes into every detail and the finish of every piece of Silverpickle jewellery. Custom orders welcome.
