Having been made redundant after 40 years as a time served Bookbinder/Print finisher, Stuart took this as an opportunity to build up his hobby of making unique and distinctive stationery and turn it into a small home business. His tag line is 'Handcrafted...in a shed...in Scotland' and true to his creative nature, he even handcrafted the shed himself.
As well as sourcing the highest quality binding materials, Stuart even fabricates some of his own workshop equipment. His products include ring binders, folders, notebooks, bookmarks and of course the ever popular A5 journals. All journals are made to stand out from the mass produced crowd, covered in the highest quality binding cloths and vibrant decorative papers, from handmade Indian papers to stunning Japanese Chiyogami paper. They feature either lined or plain paper with 3mm hard cases, they also feature a matching ribbon and magnetic bookmark.
Having had to work to instructions and structure all his working life, Stuart finds it a breath of fresh air to create whatever product he wants, when he wants, releasing his creative flair....and his commute is now only 10 steps from home!!
