Ros Cano Stained Glass
Ros Cano creates unique handcrafted works that tell richly detailed stories in glass, inspired by the landscapes of Scotland. Rooted in close observation, her practice draws from adventures across land and seascape—exploring plant, animal and geological formations, shifting weather systems, and the layered presence of folklore and archaeology woven into her surroundings.
Based in the East Neuk of Fife, her work foregrounds the sculptural potential of glass, translating aspects of the Scottish landscape into tactile, dimensional compositions. She is particularly interested in how material, colour and texture interact with the lambent effects of natural light, allowing each work to subtly shift and transform throughout the day.
Meticulously crafted by hand using high-quality materials, her work celebrates both technical precision and narrative depth. She accepts custom requests and bespoke commissions of all varieties.
