Lynn Forder is a self taught Surface Designer originally from Edinburgh. Now based in Fife, she works from her home studio creating beautiful yet simplistic designs for a range of homewares, gifts and accessories.

From the city to the countryside, Lynn is continually inspired by the natural world and has a love of old buildings and the history surrounding them. This is often translated to her design work as she prefers to use clean lines and a limited colour palette.

Most designs start off as pencil sketches which are then scanned and developed using computer software. They are then transferred to fabric using the digital printing method and applied to products including soft furnishings, textiles and stationery.

Lynn is incredibly proud to support local businesses and, apart from the lampshades which she hand rolls in her studio, all of her products are manufactured using carefully selected suppliers across the UK.
