Le Petit Moose

Stephanie Fradette is the fibre artist behind the brand “Le Petit Moose” a name chosen as a nod to her French-Canadian roots. She focuses on creating distinctive textured works, drawing on structural and layered horizons often inspired by the ever-changing coastal landscapes from her world travels.

Bold hues and gradient colour is at the forefront of her work to form a modern perspective on mid-century style. Her latest collection, "Remnants", was created using discarded fibres collected from years of teaching weaving workshops - breathing new life from the castoffs of one creative moment into another.

She loves sharing her creative knowledge to ignite your inner artist through a range of unique fibre-based workshops across Scotland, highlights of which include teaching at the Craft Scotland Summer show, Dundee Contemporary Arts and The Barn in Banchory.
