Kirsty Currie
Kirsty is a paper artist and illustrator based on the West Coast of Scotland. Working from her home studio in Oban, she creates playful and interactive paper goods including prints, cards, paper 3D models and original art pieces. Her art work is mainly inspired by Scotland’s natural environment and culture, ultimately aiming to encourage people to explore and appreciate whats on their front doorstep and to modernise and retell narratives of Scotland. Using a process of tactile paper collage, she focuses on bold colour and bold compositions to create highly stylised images and objects.
