Kirsty Currie is an illustrator, designer and model maker based in Oban. Working from her home studio, she takes inspiration from the beautiful landscapes, architecture, and history around her to offer a fresh perspective of how we view Scotland. Her work focuses on bold colour, bold compositions and 3D elements to create highly stylised images and objects. She uses a process of paper collage, where paper is layered on top of each other to give a unique 3D affect to her work. Her work is done entirely by hand in painstaking detail to create products which include prints, originals and 3D models. She also offers paper art and model making workshops across Scotland.
