Kym Parker is the Designer/Artist/Maker behind Kilo Papa Studio (previously Ellie Oskar) and works from her home studio in Glasgow.

Kym studied Textile Design at Heriot Watt’s School of Textiles in Galashiels. Here she developed a love for printed textiles and explored screen printing, colour and embellishment for interior textiles and surfaces.

A chance commission led her to develop her already decorative drawing style into a collection of highly detailed illustrations inspired by Scottish Culture! Distinctly monochrome, her original Art is digitally reproduced into Art Prints, Fine Art Prints and Limited Edition Prints as well as a wide range of Greetings Cards. Original Artwork is available upon request and Kym also accepts private commissions.

In an attempt to get back into working with colour and textiles, Kym began a new line of work exploring design and colour together, through a collection of Homewares, Accessories and Art Pieces. Her new range of work includes, hand painted Picture Frames, hand-cast Jesmonite Coasters, Trays & Decorations and hand formed jewellery made from Polymer Clays.

This new body of work inspired her to change the name of the business to allow her to encompass both of her styles of work. She’s excited to further develop her skill in these new mediums and continues to add to her collection of prints and greetings cards at her studio in Glasgow.
