Joanna is a Polish potter who has found a creative home among the beautiful landscapes of Scotland. Her love for ceramics started in Japan where she lived and studied many years ago. Her time living in Japan had an enormous influence on her aesthetic taste and her goal is to translate it into the objects she makes. She's enjoying the process of shaping her artistic identity with a focus on incorporating simplicity, modesty, asymmetry, and roughness in her work.
