Aubin is a jewellery designer creating contemporary vibrant collections, with a strong focus on pearls, leather and perspex elements. Designs are often inspired from natural forms which are reduced to the simplest of shapes and patterns using both digital and traditional jewellery making methods.
She describes her process as playful collage, often layering different materials and textures to create unique one-off compositions and collections featuring both non-precious and precious materials. Unexpected combinations of materials such as cultured pearls with perspex, leather and aluminium can all be found within her work.
With both an art school and jewellery trade background Aubin started her business humbly at the kitchen table 13 years ago. Now running her business from her dedicated jewellery studio in Aberdeen, she showcases her work through select independent stockists and curated events throughout the UK.
