Marquiss is a graduate in Jewellery & 3D Design from Gray’s School of Art, Aberdeen, where she teaches Jewellery and Portfolio Building part time. She mentors emerging designers and delivers creative workshops.

Marquiss uses traditional jewellery techniques to create contemporary, statement jewellery and accessories in silver and leather. She is influenced by mid 20th century design and architecture, which inspires her simple, structural forms. She uses etching, oxidisation and texturing to develop surface decoration, giving each piece an individual finish. She incorporates leather in her designs to add colour and softness.
Her work is enduring and elegant.
